Our Service/Technology
Fund-It, in conjunction with BenefitBar, will utilize our patent pending/copyrighted business model and technologies that will help you raise needed dollars to help make a difference. We will create and design a customized toolbar which also includes a search engine powered by one of the biggest names on the Internet, YAHOO. The Toolbar will be branded with your organization's name and information, and you are in total control of the look and content.  Your Tool Bar will have links to your web site that makes it easy and efficient for your audience; (people passionate about your organization) to navigate to your web site, and keep your organization top of mind. (If you do not have a web site we have a solution for you).

The search engine powered by Yahoo is the same search engine and information someone receives today. The search engine is the source of revenue that will help you raise the needed dollars to make a difference. At NO COST to you or your audience and with no purchase necessary; you make money when a search for items of interest are initiated from your search engine located on your toolbar and a sponsored link is clicked on when the search result page appears.

It is important to use the search engine for your normal everyday searches and click on sponsored links when those links have information that can help you. The sponsored links are anything in the special areas on the top of the search result page or to the right side of the page.

For everyone's comfort; Fund-It has added an adult filter created by Yahoo for all searches initiated from any of the toolbars we build.

If you decide to get a Fund-It for your organization, please use the technology honestly.  Fraudulent searches will result in your toolbar being deactivated.

1) Fund It is a full service company; we create the toolbar for you, using the information from your web site, or any information of your choice. The toolbar is not ready until you say it is ready!

2) You will send an email to your data base of people that will ask them to go to a web page we design for your organization that will have information and a link to download the toolbar (Fund It will never see or have access to your data base).

3) Your passionate audience downloads the new toolbar on to their browser. The process to download takes 30-40 seconds and takes up virtually no space on their hard drive. This does not replace their existing toolbar.

4) Once the toolbar is downloaded the user can do their normal everyday Internet searches that they are interested in, using the search engine on the toolbar, to help raise dollars needed to make a difference.

The Fund-It Advantage
The Fund-It Toolbar has been live since January 2007. We have studied the results and believe the average numbers presented can be exceeded by organizations that develop a passion to succeed with their staff, members and supporters.

Fund-It pays the participating organizations $ .10 per visit (click) to their Sponsor Sites, found on the Search Results Page.

Published research indicates that an active Internet user will average 3-5 searches per day.

A click is defined as the opening of a sponsor result. Sponsor results are highlighted at the top and down the right side, of the page. There will usually be up to 4 sponsor results at the top center of the page and up to 6 more to the right side of the page. Many people, who search a great deal, will click on sponsor results many times per day as a normal part of their activities, while others will click on only 1 or 2. Fraudulent use will result in your organizations toolbar being deactivated. Only click on sponsored links that have information that is of interest to you.

Some people are not experienced in using the Internet as the wonderful resource that it is. Our “Search Coach Training Center Success Program has information to help teach and motivate the participants to use the Internet as an information resource.

A reasonable goal for the number of supporters who will download the organizations toolbar is 1.5 to 3 times the number of your organizations membership or enrollment. We will provide you with ideas to help you develop passionate participants to help your organization develop an on -going revenue stream.

Continued use of the Fund-It toolbar to do Yahoo! searches by the organization’s staff and supporters will soon become a habit. Once this happens, the revenue for your organization will be greatly increased.

How Fund-It Works
An organization makes a commitment to be involved in the Fund-It Fundraising Program and appoints a Search Coach to oversee the program.

Someone from your organization completes the on-line quick start toolbar creation form, as well as agrees to the terms of the agreement. Your organization is in total control of the look and content of the customized toolbar.

Fund-It creates the toolbar; sends it to the client along with a customized web site page created to explain your new fundraising program to your organization and your supporters.

Your organization approves the look and content of the toolbar.

With Fund-It’s assistance, The Search Coach will establish a plan to introduce and roll out the new toolbar to your supporters, as well as reminders and up-dates to the participants. Our consultants will work with the Search Coach to establish a plan that fits your organizations needs.

The Search Coach has all training tools available in the Fund-It Search Coach Training Center.

Everyone who agrees to participate in the Fund-It toolbar program will be encouraged to do their same normal, day-by-day Internet searches using the search engine Powered by Yahoo located within your organization’s customized toolbar.

The Search Coach will have access to on-line information to help them keep up with the total searches and revenue. No individuals will be tracked, only the totals of all participants.

The time commitment for the participants will be the same time they normally spend doing their every day searches.

No. There is NO charge to set up a Fund-it Customized Tool Bar; your only expense is getting the word out to your audience, and there is NO cost to your audience.

Yes, Fund-it has a fully dedicated as well as redundant server system.

 What browser do end users need?  Will it work with MAC?
Fund-it works with both Internet Explorer and Firefox - the two standards. If your Mac has Firefox or Internet Explorer it is compatible for MAC.

 Does the end user need any additional software to run the Fund-It toolbar?
No, just a PC, Internet access and Internet Explorer or Firefox.

 How do we keep track of dollars raised and downloads?
Fund-it supplies you with on-line access to review reports that will make it easy for you to check the number of people downloading by the day-week-month-year, as well as the revenue you are generating through this easy fundraising program.

 How often do we receive the funds raised from searches and advertisement?
Per agreement (monthly, after initial 45 day set up period that starts the last day of the initial month of the active toolbar).

 Do we have a right to audit? 
You may audit anytime per the agreement, everything is tracked electronically.
